Look out Weddings of 2009!

Ok so now that New Years has come and gone, I am officially another year closer to 30(ugh) I must say that I am so excited. January seems to be the busiest time of year, because of all the new brides that I might get to work with. The phone rings off the hook, and I have continuous meetings with some of the most Beautiful soon to be brides. So with that being said, I would like to show you some of my favorite things from 2008....and let you know that there is certainly more to come in 2009.

I love this table because it is so simple and eligant!

Ok honestly...how sassy are these girls shoes... and notice the Maid of Honor has on a differnt dress....how cute is that!

I know there are people out there that hate candy bars, but *keep this to yourself* I think they are super cute!

One thing I love about working at Berry Creek is that the Staff is so great. Here are a few pictures of the people "behind" the scenes.

It's the Most Wonderful time of the Year!

We had our 2nd Annual Golf Cart Parade last night and boy did we have fun! We had Smores (I forgot how Yummy they are), Hot Chocolate and Apple Cider. Also we had a cart and backyard decorating contest and below are the winners. Thanks so much to everyone who participated. I know we all had lots of fun!

1st Place went to Mirna and Carol!

2nd Place went to DeDe, Pattie, and Bob (probably the cutest dog ever)

3rd Place went to the Grandchildren of Mrs. Holden. They did such a great job!

Morris-Lathem Wedding Reception

I went home to Lufkin for Thanksgiving and got to attend the wedding of my old roommate. Boy did we have fun! I wont bore you guys with the details, but I expecially loved the cakes. They were so Yummy and super cute. I especially loved Daniels Grooms cake.

Congrats to the new Mr. and Mrs. Morris!

Introducing Mr. and Mrs. Duck

Every year there is one wedding that a Catering Director looks forward too. I never know which of my brides it will be, but once I get that feeling it stays with me till after the wedding. Michele and Michael were that couple for me.

I truly loved working with this couple and am so so sad that I won’t be working with them anymore (it truly feels like I have broken up with my boyfriend). With that being said, I thought the night was spectacular. The bride was gorgeous, the music was awesome and the room sparkled from head to toe. I would especially like the thank, All 4 You Disc Jockey (the Duck’s cousins), Just in Roses (the flowers were AMAZING), BBJ Linen (they helped us in our time of crisis) and everyone else I had the pleasure of working with that night. I cant wait to see the pictures.
